Designations/Certifications

As Broker - I hold myself and the brokerage to a high standard of honesty and integrity, and always go “over and above” in all I do for my clients. I also believe that Knowledge is Power, which is why I have made it a priority to increase my repertoire, acquiring multiple designations and certifications. Each of these will benefit you, my client, in a myriad of ways:

**CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager) is one of the oldest and most respected official designations of the National Association of REALTORS® and earned by only 3% of REALTORS® around the world. This comprehensive program combines experience with management education and subscribes to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. Our industry is in a constant state of evolution and change, so to remain competitive in today's business environment, it's vital to stay ahead of the information and knowledge curve. CRB equips me with advanced business management education, resources, and tools for achieving maximum profitability, productivity, and performance.

**C2EX (Commitment to Excellence) is an endorsement from the National Association of Realtors to foster a culture of professional growth, innovation, and organizational performance.

**GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation is an intensive series of courses to increase professionalism and knowledge of new technology, laws, procedures. This is a benefit in all realms of the real estate industry.

**SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) this designation is the premier credential when representing sellers. It provides skills training and resources designed to enhance sales performance and to better represent the interest of the seller.

**ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative) this designation encompasses specialized information and programs to elevate skills when working with buyers, and provides marketing tools and resources for an additional competitive edge.

**PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor) is a certification that enhances skills in pricing properties, creating CMAs and working with appraisers, and guiding clients regarding home values.

**RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert) is a certification to elevate and enhance negotiation skills and techniques to allow me to better advocate for my clients in both buying and selling situations.

**RSPS (Resort and Second Home Specialist) this is a certification to enhance my ability to assist clients interested in retirement or second homes in vacation or recreational destinations such as ours.

**CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) is a designation that provides specialized training to complete global transactions with reduced risk, including currency issues, financing, visa and tax laws. We have a network of 3500 professionals in 45 countries worldwide, which provides a base of referral partners to ensure our clients receive the same level of service regardless of location of the real estate transaction.

**SFR (Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource) is a certification that give tools and training for understanding the framework and to better help sellers in maneuvering the complexity of short sales, as well as assisting buyers in pursuing foreclosure and short sale opportunities.

**ePro certifies me as an internet professional to leverage skills and do more effective business on the internet by providing the latest techniques in real estate marketing, as well as methods for staying up to date on those marketing trends.

**CPS (Certified Probate Specialist) is a certification designed to better guide clients through the probate process of listing their home or buying a home, and focuses on developing techniques to prevent potential disaster moments. It provides the knowledge to assist clients regarding property owned in conservatorship or living trust and to determine the impact revocable vs. irrevocable trust has on the process, as well as effective communication with all individuals involved in the process and addressing any potential objections/concerns buyers may have regarding any properties involved in probate.

**CRMS (Certified Reverse Mortgage Specialist) is a certification for training in using reverse mortgage for additional methods of financing a purchase.

**CMLXv (Certified MLS Management Specialist) is an executive designation given by CMLS in recognition of professional competencies based on continued and ongoing training, mastery of core knowledge and skills, and compliance with competency standards identified by professional peers.

**TRRS (Texas Risk Reduction Specialist) is a certification with in-depth training of various aspects of business risk reduction,. This training enhances the ability to recognize and embrace the value of further education related to risk reduction and how to utilize resources for business related risk avoidance, as well as identify and mitigate liability through effective risk reduction policies and practices.

Growing up in the northwestern area of the United Kingdom, my husband and I moved over to the United States in 2001. We spent many family vacations in the South Padre Island area since 2007, and have been fortunate to call Laguna Vista home since 2017. I also enjoy volunteering to help local charities including Friends of Animal Rescue, and I am part of the Port Isabel Band Boosters. In my free time, I love traveling and spending time with my family, swimming, reading and cooking.
