*****What an AMAZING turnout we had!! Our 1st Annual SAVE THE TURTLES Fundraiser was a huge success! We want to thank our host, Jerrod Henry and crew at the Rio Grande Distillery and Brewery, and ALL our incredible partners and sponsors, as well as our generous silent auction donors. A special shout out to Ricardo Torres for being such an excellent Master of Ceremonies and helping us keep up with all the activities going on, and also Heather Alcala for all the technical help throughout the evening. We appreciate each and every one of you!
And to our community...we are truly grateful for everyone who attended and contributed to the event, making it a memorable and enjoyable experience. Your enthusiastic participation and generous bids made it all the more special. Thank you for being a part of it! We are excited to announce our upcoming fundraising event, “Sip ‘n Support: Save the Turtles”. This unique charity affair combines the enjoyment of artisanal sips with a fun evening of fundraising in a commitment to protecting and preserving our precious sea turtles.
“Sip ‘n Support: Save the Turtles” is an evening dedicated to raising awareness and funds for our local Sea Turtle, Inc and their ongoing sea turtle conservation efforts. Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in an array of carefully selected moonshine offerings, accompanied by delicious hors d'oeuvres, pizza and dessert, all the while contributing to a crucial cause.
● Moonshine Tasting - explore a curated selection of moonshine varieties created by Master Distiller Jerrod Henry.
● Live Entertainment - enjoy live music by Nathan Hubble as well as engaging activities, creating an atmosphere of celebration and advocacy.
● Silent Auction - bid on exclusive items and experiences throughout the evening with all proceeds directly supporting our local sea turtle conservation initiatives.
● Celebrity Live Auction - bid on local celebrities to escort you on a one-of-a-kind exclusive tour of Sea Turtle, Inc. facilities located on South Padre Island. Along with the exclusive tour, there will be an informative presentation by Sea Turtle staff, followed by a dinner and live music.

Such a fun evening - the culmination of our Sip'N Support: Save The Turtles charity event!! We all immensely enjoyed the special VIP tour of the Sea Turtle facilities, meeting the residents and learning even more about these amazing creatures. A special thank you to Wendy and Sanjuana for making this happen during their time off! Following the tour, we headed back to the Rio Grande Distillery for dinner and drinks, and even a serenade.

BUT of course, the pinnacle of the evening was presenting our own Sea Turtle, Inc with the proceeds from the fundraiser ~$11,000 !! 💰
So again, a huge THANK YOU to all our partners, co-sponsors, and our local community that were so supportive of this inaugural event. We are so excited to already be in the planning stages for the next ANNUAL Save The Turtles fundraiser which will be held at their new rescue and rehab facility, currently slated to be completed later this summer.
